While preferences today can be applied via Magic Edit Memory, we're planning to make it easier to review, set, and adjust preferences that control the output of your notes. Stay tuned!

It would be nice to have a way to change the default name of the writer from Therapist to "the Writer" or "counselor" by default rather than utilizing magic write every time as it would allow me to more easily tailor my notes to match my own writing voice.

I preferred the checklist where you could choose the level of detail of the different sections of the note. I do not like the integrated new version.

I've used Magic Edit to request "make this note more brief" - even repeating that for the same note over & over, and it still returns the same length of content, which is not at all shorter than the original. It seems like the AI doesn't know how to shorten it.

Up until last week there was a way to set the length of each note or intake whether long, concise, etc as default and to change when needed. I really liked that feature and not sure if it got deleted or I just can't find it now.
